Driving from the city of Ehime Prefecture and passing through a tall forest with green leaves,
I saw a vertical building.
It is characterized by a pool that pops out toward the sea and large 8-meter-high windows.
The building, designed by Tadao Ando as an art museum, is suitably named “Retreat”, and is filled with serenity.
Shadows that change shape with the movement of the sun accentuate the tranquility.
Spending time in a room that changes its expression from moment to moment, I get to feel that I’m
also a part of nature.
I could not find words to describe the luxury of renting out this building.
